Into the Vault: Rograkh Silas Renn Farm Deck

Written by Christian Gil Portugalisa         Good morning to all of you. I've seen a lot of people sharing their amazing Commander Legends pulls. Unfortunately, Commander Legends is delayed in my area. I am definitely excited to get my hands and open a box when it arrives. For today's topic, I want to delve into the more competitive side of Commander with partner commanders Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Silas Renn, Seeker Adept . The Commanders            Etched Commanders are awesome and both are available in Commander Legends. The MVP of the deck is Rograkh. For 0 converter mana cost (CMC), we can play him on turn 1 and still have mana open to do other things. This is critical since we have cards that need one of our commanders to be on the battle field for us to play them for free. I've chosen Silas Renn as the partner for the color identity as well as his ability to return artifacts into play. The last part is not as critical for our game plan howev

Into the Vault: Maralen the Mornsong

Hi everyone. It’s been a while since our last topic. The pandemic has had a difficult impact on everyone and we all are having challenges playing one of our favorite games. Thankfully, new platforms have risen (Spelltable, Untap, MTG Arena, etc.) allowing us to still play a few games with our friends while remaining safe from the pandemic.          It's Spoiler season once again and Commander Legends is here with amazing drops. Vampiric Tutor as well as the remaining 5 Battlebond lands have been spoiled and has gotten me really hyped about this set. However, there is one card in particular that has caught my attention. And that's Opposition Agent          What's so great about this card is his/her ability to take control of what an opponent can tutor. You will ultimately decide what card to look for and then cast the card that you found in their deck. Most decks in Commander are designed to tutor for something. It can be lands, creatures, art

Into the Vault: Sisay, Weatherlight Captain

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Ever since I started playing Commander, I’ve always wanted to build a deck that is literally full of well Commanders. This wasn’t an easy venture since I needed to have a bare minimum of a 5-color commander to helm it all and the mana base for a 5-color deck is very tricky. It wasn’t until Sisay, Weatherlight Captain from Battlebonds was introduced that I finally decided it was time. The Captain of the Weatherlight &nbsp &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp This is not the first time that Sisay was printed as a Commander. In fact, she was a very strong Competitive Commander when Paradox Engine was still around. She was one of the Commanders who got hit very hard when the Rules Committee decided that Paradox Engine should be banned. &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
